Bob Dylan on sale!

I wanted to buy Greil Marcus' book on "Like a Rolling Stone" being the greatest song in pop history but I couldn't dish out hardcover price. Something always made me feel guilty and shameful. Would Dylan* be okay with this?

Tonight, I found it at St. Marks for 8 dollars. Oh, these freelancer billionaires know what I'm talking about.

I'm working on a novel. Houston, in the year 2024, is filled with rappers-as-sorcerers and a 33-year-old Mexican-American DJ named Juan who lives with his parents. What is more sci-fi than rich Mexicans? Living in River Oaks while a mysterious red Buick Regal roams the neighborhood and a pint-sized Rhodes Scholar rapper who is obsessed with Schopenhauer. A part-satire, part-thriller, part-naco science-fiction novel where David Foster Wallace meets UGK? Look for it on bookshelves in 2093.

Fantasma Press is an indie publishing house based in Brooklyn, NY. Genre stories, weird stories, avant-garde/experimental fiction, Spanish-language fiction and dope drawings and essays are forthcoming in the future.
