master p was my english teacher, mom

I'm tired. New York makes you feel dizzy. Fight, sit, sit, fight. Sonic Youth makes me feel like music criticism still matters. Rather Ripped is easily one of the best records this year. Girl Talk, too (gonna see homedude spin this Friday). But, I've been over here, thats why the talk talk talk on this side has been slim. Don't think I've forgotten about you, Japan. I've been staying up late nights, working on a tiny comic book called The Queen is Dead, Again that should be done sometime soon. Children need stories, too. My nephew, whose six, wants records.

How can I be weary when thats what is in the world?

Providence, Rhode Island is where I want to wander. Brown University is gangsta. I've seen these people in the past three weeks: Alyssa Milano (in my work's lobby, no less), James Murphy (who eats at the same underground 19th century French bar as I do!) and Andre 3000 at the Hudson Hotel (okay, that was my better half, but still).

I want to talk to you about music.
